‘Nor umi’: Norwegian Sea

Norumi opened in spring 2023 and is an upscale mid-market Japanes sushi restaurant at Fornebuporten.
We offer both traditional and contemporary Japanese sushi. The restaurant is open during daytime and is perfect for lunch meetings, early dinner or take-away.

Our head chef, Ernesto Manalo, also known for his career at Alex Sushi, is a master of authentic, innovative Japanese culinary experiences.

His philosophy is to create a unique Japanese flavor palette based on Norwegian high quality products, bringing a Norwegian twist to the Japanese cuisine.

Environmentally friendly packaging and sustainable raw products are a matter of course.
